Overcoming the Accuser

Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Satan is the accuser of the Brethren, as long as we have been identified with God through the death of Christ and resurrection, he never sleeps nor slumber in the process of bringing accuses against us in other to separate us from the grace we enjoy in Christ.

The fact that we have been  identified with Christ does not mean he will rest and give up on our life, on daily bases he bring temptation and trials before us in other for us to fall into it and sin against God, and this will give him the access to present our fault before God.

He did with Job.
Job  1:9 Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?  1:10 Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.

Job being a just and an upright man was blessed by God shielded in the secret place of the most High, so Satan couldn't find a fault in Him, yet he challenged God to let him tried his faith.

Job was tried, tested and troubled with his family members and even his health, just in a bid to find fault in him so he can deny God. But job's faith in God even becomes stronger day after day.

He said in Job  19:25 For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth. Job never lose faith In God, he believed in God all through the time of trials and came out victorious such they the latter days of his life was far better then the former.

Today, satan never stop accusing us before God, he uses several means to hold fault against us before the Lord, this he does through temptations and lies, and once we fall into it, he brings our case before God.. And by this our blessings become withheld and our life becomes open to his attacks.

But there is joy that we can overcome satan the accuser, this is possible through the following.

1. Recognise your place in God.
Galatians  2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

The first step to overcoming the accuser is to recognise yourself in God, establish the fact that you have been crucified with Christ, and that Christ lives in you. You must know that you no longer live in the life of sin but in the righteousness and holiness of God.

You must know that you no longer live in the canal mindedness of this world but in sprit through  faith in God.
1 John  5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.  5:5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

2. Enforce the victory of Christ over Satan.

Revelation  12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

No man is powerful enough to defeat Satan, some angels couldn't, but the death of Christ on the cross of calvary and the shedding of the blameless blood gives total victory over the devil, as believers in Christ we are to continually enforce the victory of Christ in our daily living, by this we have full victory over him.

Satan will not stop to find faults with us through sin, but as long as we have been identified with Christ and we Continue to live in Him through faith, we become victorious over Him.

With Christ we are overcomers over the accuser.

God bless you.
