Beware of false Teaching

1 Timothy  6:20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:

False teaching has been in existence from generations past, even before the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, apparently it was false teachers who crucify Him, because He came to destroy and expose their evil business. 

it was had  to differentiate the truth from lies. Before the ministry of Christ people had first been subjected to the laws of moses which God commanded after the Exodus from the land of Egypt. Others were subjected to wrong teachings and self acclaimed philosophies. 

when Jesus Christ came, He introduced the grace of the Father, the truth of God and this becomes the light of understanding of everyone who will end up in His eternal kingdom. 

Consequently, the devil never stop to bring counterfeit of the true teaching of Christ, this he does through false teachers who formulate personal selfish and demonic  principles, doctrines, and standards which are centered on deceit for the purpose of self gain and to lue many to Hell. 

Apostle Paul was teaching his son in Christ, Timothy, on the understanding of false teaching that has been flying around or will flood the body of Christ 

As much as the false teachings will almost look like the truth, in a culture of distorted religious beliefs, believers must be wise not to be turned aside unto fables falsely called knowledge. 

There are evidently some intellectualism invading the church, these were hiden behind the cover of either science or philosophies that were the accepted beliefs of the day. However the holy spirit through Paul calls these false science and philosophies idle babblings and contradictions. 

Apostle Paul teaches that... 1 Timothy  6:3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;  6:4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,  6:5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

Any teaching that negate the Gospel of the lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the manifestation of the Holy Spirit which is unto godliness is nothing but false and many emanates from demons and the devil. 

Understanding the false teachings in the body of Christ. 

1. Be filled with the Holy spirit. 

John  14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

In the concluding part of Christ's ministry on earth. He promised the holy spirit, the comforter who will teach those who believed in Him all things He had thought and also communicate the will of the father to each and everyone. 

The ministry of the Holy Spirit also reveals secret, unveil lies and rebuke evil at every given time. The best way to be spiritually conscious of the false teachings is to be filled with the Holy spirit. 

2. By their Fruit you shall know them. 

2 Timothy  4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;  4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Many today has establish false teachings which promote the pleasure of the flesh, rejecting the laws and commandment of God, they stylishly drift away from the true teachings of the gospel of Christ just to suit the desire of their followers... Many  have been caged by their lies all in the name of searching for the truth. 

Many establish their own ministry not for the purpose of being called but because they could not humble themselves under the authority of the teachings of Christ, in a bid to stay different they formulate a standard for themselves and lue people to believe their lies.  From such flee.

Matthew  24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

This is the sign of the last days, beware of those who will come as the true prophets, true teachers and holders of the mystery of God, they will come in sheep clothing but their intent is evil. 

Guide your heart and the true word of Christ you have hold, be connected to God always through the Holy spirit for you not to be drifted away from the path of righteousness you have set your feet on.
