John  9:4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

We all are created with a purpose and a divine assignment attached to us. At first, man was created to dominate an extension of God's kingdom which will show forth His glory and majesty. Man is to rule over all creatures made on earth.

As man begin to multiply from one generation to another, our purposes becomes simplified according to our generation and the location we find ourselves. Though we may be blind to this purpose as we grow up, but having an intimacy with God will make us see, know and understand His purposes for our life per time and season.

As much as we live to fulfil our personal desires in this world, we must not be too carried away by forgetting the heavenly assignment God has purposed for everyone of us. This heavenly assignment will also guide us through the success we deserve both in this life and the wold to come.

Have you discovered your heavenly father's assignment yet?

David was chosen at a tender age and anointed to be king over Israel, his purpose was to lead the people in the right  ways of the lord after Saul had failed.

1 Samuel  16:1 And the LORD said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons.

David didn't disappoint God by fulfilling his heavenly assignment, he communicated the mind of God throughout his reign as king over Israel till his death.
Acts  13:36 For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:

At the same view of the life of Elisha.

Elisha was apparently a successful farmer, who was not slothful at what he does, naturally everyone would believe he has already fulfilled purpose in life, yet at the appointed time, the assignment of the father came upon him and he never rejected the call. At the end he was able to fulfil the mandate of God. He never miss everyone placed on his journey.

1 Kings  19:21 And he returned back from him, and took a yoke of oxen, and slew them, and boiled their flesh with the instruments of the oxen, and gave unto the people, and they did eat. Then he arose, and went after Elijah, and ministered unto him.

Even our Lord saviour Christ Jesus...

Jesus Christ never hesitate to understand the purpose of his coming to this world, the divine assignment God gave Him to work out our salvation. He fulfilled His purpose and bestowed the same on us in preaching the Good news of the kingdom.
John  9:4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

As we live our life, we must consciously know that God has called us out for the divine assignment which we must fulfilled.
Romans  8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.  8:30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

He had known us even before we were conceived, He had predestined us for a specific assignment so He called us out of many and justified us by His grace so if we are able to discover, know and yield to His call, then we would be glorified.

Our purpose of living can never be fulfilled without fulling the assignment of the father in heaven.
