Amending faulty Foundation
Psalms 11:3 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
Every life has a begining, every generation has a starting point, the strength of a house is determined by what foundation is layed. No matter how beautiful the house may be, if the foundation is not well layed, then the house will fall when the storms of life strike on it.
God had first given us a solid and good foundation rooted in His righteousness and holiness in the garden of Eden, but Satan came and destroyed the good foundation God layed for all mankind. Yet, He never allowed the foundation to be destroyed forever, God moved with love and rebuilt the foundation through the sacrificial death of Christ.
Your foundation may be faulty, your life may have a faulty begining which brings about pains, sorrow, delay and setbacks, the foundation of your marriage may be faulty which may bring about hatred, distrust and divorce, but God is able to amend every faulty foundations.
For a faulty foundation to be mended, such believer must be ready to understand path ways to redemption.
Jeremiah 17:7 Blessed the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. 17:8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
Before God can help you mend your faulty foundation, you must first trust in Him totally and rest your hope solely on Him. You must be able to trust in His power and grace to save and to deliver.
Acts 17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent
The process of God's redemption is to first renew the time of ignorance, redeeming the time of old, only when the fellow realise his/her mistakes and repent from the way of sin
James 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
Another way to amending a faulty foundation is to humble oneself under the authority of God in direction and guidance, you must be ready to follow His instructions no matter how unreasonable it may seems.
Whoever that can call on the name of God will be saved, whoever that can seek the face of God in fasting, prayer and in His words will be saved and his/her foundation will be amended
Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Jabez called on the name of God when He realised his foundation has become faulty, he prayed on God and his prayers was answered.
1 Chronicles 4:10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.
Call on the name of God and your faulty foundation in marriage, academics, business, ministry etc shall be amended no matter how faulty it may be.
Call on God today and receive your redemption.
