Why should you die?

Proverbs  14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Death is inevitable to every man on earth, our life is limited to some certain time frame, and when one clocks or exhaust his/time, death comes. 

As much as we understand the natural death that become the end of everyone, there is still another death, which comes after and this will last till eternity. This is the second death. 

Why should you die the second time when life is presented to you freely without cost? Why should you follow the path that leads to destruction when you can choose the one that leads to eternal life?. Proverbs  14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

The self-centered nature of man leads him to believe that he can establish his own moral standards. But the standards he establishes will lead him to destruction. Only God's moral standards will lead one to life. 

Another way to choose death is to be obsessed in getting money at all cost...  Lack of contentment leads to the love of money, while the love of money leads to evil acts and eventually evil will begat death. 

1 Timothy  6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Having money is not evil, but materialistic heart that is obsessed with obtaining  it is evil. The desire to satisfy one's thirst for wealth will always draw one's life towards the path of destruction... This will make one focus more on the things of this world rather than the things of the kingdom. 

1 John  2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 

In the world there are temptations that are produced wherein one is drawn away from the love of God to satisfy the desires of the flesh in an ungodly manner these are the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life . This inturn makes one become an associate of the devil and the end of anyone who exhibit this traits is death.  Why should you choose this death instead of life that is embedded in Christ Jesus? 

Ecclesiastes  5:10 He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is also vanity. Unconstrained desire for wealth in this world shall end in disappointment and vanity, because none will leave this world with those who acquires it. 

Hebrews  13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

The conduct of every believer in Christ in this world must be of a nature that is not driven by the love of of money, believers must be known for being satisfied with the things they have, else their spirit of covetousness will lead them to the trap of death. 

Isaiah  1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.  1:19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:  1:20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

This is a plea for repentance, God's forgiveness is readily available to anyone who is ready to submit and surrender their life to the source of life of all things. Only by this can one escape the terror of death that come  after the natural death. 

Why should you die in sin when you can live in the righteousness of God found in Christ? 

Why should you continue in your wicked ways which will eventually lead you to hell when you can embrace the life in Christ which will guarantee you unlimited joy and happiness in eternity?

Have a second thought today... Don't die before you realize you could have make the right choice.. 

The right choice is presented to you today, and that is Christ Jesus the saviour. Come to Him today and receive life that lives till eternity.
