Stop tempting God.

Luke  4:12 And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

Tempting God is an attempt to put to the test or make trial of one or more of God's attributes, such as His knowledge, will, power, or wisdom. This testing of God can be made by word, deed, or omission. It is formal when one says or does something with the express or explicit intention of putting God on trial. 

Tempting God is a sin before Him, because it is an insult to God to question His attributes and to challenge Him to manifest them. 

God had brought children of Israel out of slavery of more than four hundred years,  with a mighty hand and show of wonder God brought them to the wilderness of paran. 

He commanded moses to send spies to the land of Canaan to spy it, but the evil report brought by the ten melted the heart of the whole congregation of Israel in fear, and they murmured against God and tempted God. This they do to challenge the power and authority of God even after seeing many miracles performed in egypt. 

Numbers  14:22 Because all those men which have seen my glory, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not hearkened to my voice;

Those who tempted God never live to tell the story, they were all consumed to death. 

Jesus Christ reminded the devil that it is written that gid must not be tempted. Luke  4:12 And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

Tempting God always provoke His anger because it is an insult to His personality. 


We tempt God in several ways tody. 

We tempt God when we demand a sign from him for what he has already promised to do 

We tempt God when we deliberately continue to sin and think God's mercy will prevail over our multitude of sin. 

We tempt God when we choose to act like we have faith In Him whereas it's in a bid to see if God will actually do what he promised to do. 

In what way are you tempting God today?, check your life and repent from any act, God is rich in long-suffering but His anger is fierce. 

Change your ways.
