Though men forsake me

Psalms  27:10 When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.

The promises of God are limitless and eternal to all who believes in Him, His divine providence gives us comfort, love, courage and peace as we continually live our life in this failed world. 

There will be times we will find ourselves in the most difficult situations that leave us alone and abandoned. At some point we may be deserted by family, rejected by coworkers, and even forsaken by most of our trusted friends and associates. 

Heartbreaking moments like this can turn our world upside down leaving us to pick up the pieces with a deep hole of  loneliness in the middle of our souls, this has led many to depression, desperate and deadly decision and eventually suicide 

Yet we have confidence in God that He will never leave us or forsake us. God is at work in us, in our difficulties, and in situations even though trials and challenges will not always be removed from our lives.

Joseph was rejected by his blood brothers, he was casted into a deep pit and later sold into slavery, he had no hope, no help, no family, no friends yet he did not forget God. 

In the prison he interpreted dreams for the chief Baker and the chief butler... He so much trusted in the chief butler to be the person through whome he will get out of prison, at least by using his influence before pharaoh, but sadly the chief butler forgot Joseph. Genesis  40:23 Yet did not the chief butler remember Joseph, but forgat him.

You may have done good to people in the past, and when they are in position to help, you believe they are in the best position to help you out of your ugly situation, if not for anything, for old time sake, but sadly, they forsake you, pretend as if they never knew you. 

Apostle Paul also recount his ordeal after he called on men for support but Couldn't get any, as much as he was a preacher of the Gospel... 2 Timothy  4:16 At my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge.  

You may have prayed for people, God may have used you to bless people spiritually and their life turned around physically, you raises your hope that probably they would be the channel God will use in return to bless your ministry, yet they all walk away

Here is what the Lord says that will give anyone who has been rejected or being rejected fresh hope. 

Isaiah  49:15 Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.

God gave this reassurance to the children of Israel while in captivity, as long as a woman cannot forget her sucking child, that she will not have pity on the child she carries for nine months, so also will God never forget those who cleave to Him. 

God likened his relationship with believers to the bond between a woman and her child. 

God has redeemed you to be His own, he will never leave nor forsake you, even if the whole world turn its back on you, God of the universe will stand by you and support you. 

Do not be discouraged when men forsake you, do not be dismay when those you trusted so much disappoints you, it may look like the whole world is ending on you alone. Whenever the world turned its back on you, turn your face to God. 

King david testify to the goodness of God, after he had been forgotten and sort to be killed by King Saul, he praises God for standing on his side. Psalms  27:10 When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.

Rest in His words, have faith in Him and wait for His deliverance. Those who looked up unto Him are never put to shame.
