More than Gold

Psalms  19:9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.  19:10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

Gold is a precious metal which is used in making jewelleries, it has value which it's collections can make one rich.

Many has laboured all their life to have it, many kill because of it, it serves as a means of living to many because it is exchangeable for any currency.

As precious and valuable as it is, there are still many more things that are better, more  precious, and more valuable to have than gold.

1. The fear of the LORD
Psalms  19:9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.  19:10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

Fearing the Lord means to be in reverent awe of His holiness, to give Him complete reverence and to honor Him as the God of great glory, majesty, purity and power.

The fear of the Lord brings us into submission under the power of the Great God, it brings us closer to God the Father and unveils His supernatural blessings upon us.  The fear of the Lord is valuable more than Gold.

2. Faith
Acts  3:16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

Having faith is having trust. You have to trust with your entire being that God has your back that he will help you and take care of you. He knows what is best, but to truly embrace what he has planned for you, you have to fully trust. Our trust is not foolish, for our God is both faithful and good.

Faith establishes man's confidence in God to face whatever situation that may comes his way... Gold may be valuable, but cannot solve all problems, but faith in God gives solution to all problems..

Salvation
Mark 8:36-37 "For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? 37 "Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?

You can gain all the gold in this world, but it can't take you anywhere pass this world, but the salvation of your soul guarantee you a place in eternity and life after death.

Jesus Christ is the currency  through which you can acquire the kingdom of God. In Him there is life, and through Him you can access the father.

Giving your life to Christ is to have a treasure in heaven, where thieves and moths cannot destroy it.

When you die, all your treasures of gold and many others will remain in this world, but your salvation in Christ will lead you to the father.

Gold is good, but its value is only limited to this world. Commit your soul to heavenly treasure and have a sustainable life after death.

God bless you.
