Living Dead

Revelation 3:1 “And to the angel of the church in Sardis write, ‘These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: “I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead.

Have you heard about the stories of zombies, the stories about the dead reincarnating in some other places and still continue to live?, well I have heard so many even when most are not true, in fact none is true... But today I can boldly confirm to you that there are many zombies(living dead) walking around us... You never can tell, you might even be one.. 

Many see themselves to be alive, but the truth is they are dead, one can physically and mortally be alive,but spiritually dead.

The church in Sadies was well known, they are famous for their vigorous prayer routing, they are famous for their kind heart of charity, they are well known for erecting the biggest cathedral ever known, in fact, they are famous for being the richest Church in history.  what else do they need to quality themselves as being the living church? Apparently none, so they named themselves "the living church" 

 But God who sees the depth of the heart called them out and say, they are actually dead. Though they see themselves as living through the natural things, but spiritually, they are dead..

So also many believers today, they see themselves as being holy brother, or holy sister, they prophecy, sing melodious songs, preach heart melting messages, yet, God is saying they are dead. 

Many exhibit the gift of the spirit, but do not take heed to the directions of the Holy spirit, many are alive religiously, but their righteousness and holiness is dead. 

Romans  8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

It is the spirit of God that  raised Jesus Christ from the dead, if this spirit lives in you, then it will definitely give you life in eternity when Christ shall appear in His second coming, but if the Spirit does not live in you now, then you are a living dead, you are mortally alive, but if rapture or death should happen  now, you are definitely dead in eternity. 

John  6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

The word of God is the life that should reside in us, knowing the word, doing the word, and living the word is the evidence of being spiritually alive and not a living dead. 

If you still continue in the way if sin, you are a living dead. 

If you refuse to follow the will of God for yourself, but follow after the desire of your heart, you are a living dead. 

If you exhibit  the fruit of the spirit, cast out devils, heal the sick and raise the dead, yet you indulge in secret sins, you are a living dead. 

If Christ do not live in you, and you are not guided by His Spirit, you are a living dead. 

Cheek yourself today, and ask, am I not a living dead? Am I not a zombie? 

If there be any appearance of a dead man in you, today is the day to come to life. You can, if you allow Christ to work on you, just as He did to Mary magdalena. 

Come back to Christ today, and become a living soul now and in eternity. 

Tomorrow may be too late, God bless you.

1. Lord, thank you for the blessing of today in Jesus Christ name. 

2. Lord, save me from being a living dead in Jesus Christ name. 

3. Lord, command  life into my life and , help me to live according to your will till your second coming in Jesus Christ name.
