Fear of the Future

Proverbs  27:1 Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.

One of the enemy that fight against man's existence is the fear of the unknown, the fear of the future is to be filled with the anxiety of possible future occurrence or events. This has put many into dangerous decision making while projecting what the future will look like even when many knows they will not live up to that future

As a believer, we should never be consumed with the anxiety of what tomorrow will bring, God gave the assurance of his dive in providence and safety of tomorrow because He is already there.

Proverbs  27:1 Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.
God made man   and thus social structures for man are best determined by God, the verse above explained God's instruction for those who would live in peace with one another in any society be sue there is no guarantee that tomorrow may come. One should fully appreciate eat day of his life.

The fear of tomorrow has made many too insecure and feel their security can be threatened at any time, so they go extra mile to protect their territory against imaginable enemies.. This has resulted to war between nations in the past and even in this present day today.

Another fear of the future people plan ahead for is the financial security. As much as it is good to plan ahead in other not to end up in penury in days to come, believers should not be obsessed with making  money at all cost.
Some people today engaged in all sort of fraudulent activities and many in money ritual making activities, this is in a bid to secure their future for financial freedom, but it comes at the expense of another man's tears.

Jesus Christ in His teaching to the disciples emphasize on the need for believers to cast their trust and hope in God for the future yet to be unfold.

Matthew  6:25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?  6:26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?  6:27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?  6:28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

One must not be overly anxious about the things of this world, one must come to an understanding that life does not consist of those things that are empirically beheld and possessed. Jesus teaches that if God cares for the birds that put forth no effort to plant and reap crops, then surely He will take care of His children.

Jesus teaches that we should not be overly concerned about the sustenance of life. One must trust God and not his one's self sufficiency.

If you put your confidence in God, your future and that of your generations to come is already secured..

God bless you.
