The Patient Dog

Ecclesiastes  7:8 Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.

We have all heard the adage or proverb that a patient dog eats the fattest bone. In other words, you have to be very patient in everything you do. Do not be quick to anger, do not take shortcut to success, do not rush in making decisions.

This also is consciously applicable to anyone that will walk with God in faith and hope,  God's way is never our way, and his timing  is different from our time zone, so the need to be patient in all our relationship with Him... It may look like He's taking too long to answer some of our request, or He's keeping us too long in the waiting room, yet we must be very patient so as to eat the fattest bone of His blessings and greatness He has prepared for us.

Romans  12:12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;
Believers have every reason to rejoice in hope while we trust God for a better life, pessimistic and fatalistic attitudes should  not be characteristic of any believer. The transformed mind must change from such negative attitudes of life.

We must patiently endure in time of trials, because we know that all things work together for good. And while in trial, it is the nature of a child of God to maintain communication with God, we should not allow ourselves to be trapped in circumstances of mental attitudes that would hinder our communication with God.

Romans  8:25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
Hope is the foundation upon which we continue our response to the grace of God. By this, for us not to give up our eternal possession that we have as hairs of God, we must obediently walk by faith in patience with Him.

James  1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;  1:3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.  1:4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
As we have been identified with God, our life becomes attracted to persecution because satan will rise up against all that represent God in this world.

We must understand, therefore that persecution is an occasion for joy when the persecution comes as a result of our commitment to God.  We must also understand that the many trials are an occasion for spiritual growth and development of character. In this time of trials, we must be very patient with God so that we would be able to come out stronger and more refined in the grace and power of God.

Whatever you are going through today, and you have prayed with no result, you have the confidence that it's not as a result of sin, then you must be very patient, God is definitely working the best of your life out behind the scene.

If God is keeping you in the waiting room, don't be too hurry to break the door out, or jump through the window, be patient with God else you will come out undone, and this will cripple every of God's plan for your life and may withheld eternity from you.

The patient dog always eat the fattest bone, wait, pray, wait, hope, wait and still pray while waiting for the fattest  bone from God.

You will never be disappointed or regret your time of patience and waiting.

God bless you
