Unhealthy Zeal
Leviticus 10:1 And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he commanded them not.
Zeal is the great energy or enthusiasm in pursuit of a cause or an objective, an unhealthy Zeal is the great energy in pursuit of a wrong purpose
It is good to have Zeal but if it is for a wrong purpose it becomes an unhealthy Zeal. Many believer today exhibit unhealthy Zeal in several ways and thought it is for a good purpose, this has caused so much avork in our lives today both phicially and spiritually.
Uzzah in the scriptures displayed an unhealthy Zeal which he thought was for a good purpose. It was time for the ark of covenant to be restored to Israel, king David made the move to covey the ark, all instruction of God was followed, but at a point the ark of covenant was about to fell of the oxen, so Uzzar reached his hand out to save it in a bid to save them from incurring the wrought of God if the ark should touch the ground.
2 Samuel 6:6 And when they came to Nachon's threshingfloor, Uzzah put forth his hand to the ark of God, and took hold of it; for the oxen shook it. 6:7 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzzah; and God smote him there for his error; and there he died by the ark of God.
Uzzah was zealous enough to save the ark, but his action was another step forward in disobedience to God. Just like many believers today, they thought they wanted to do the will of God, but their action was an act of disobedience. Uzzar didn't escape God's punishment.
Another scenerio was the story of Nadad and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, though their father was made the high priest and he is the one that suppose to burn incense on the altar of God, but they took it upon themsleves through an unhealthy Zeal, their act was a complete disobedience to God, so their fire became strange and they were consumed for it.

So also many mimisters of God today, many of their children were not called by God, but becaue they were zealous about the works of God, they forced their children into the ministry, their Zeal became unhealthy and they were not blessed by God as they should as History servants. God cannot be mocked, and you cannot force Him to bid for your own will.
In what way have you been exhibiting unhealthy Zeal today?
It may be giving, there are some giving that were not channels of God's blessing, because its not for a purpose defined by God. Some giving are manipulated by men of God in other to bring more funds into the sactruanry but were not actually commanded by God. Such sometimes does not attract God's. blessings.
Your unhealthy Zeal may be your services in the house of God, it may not be the purpose of God for you, or it is not your duty to do it.. This may be the reason for your suffering today, you think you are working for God but rather working agaisnt God's will and Purpose.
Check your life today, and see where you are exhibiting an unhealthy Zeal and save yourself from the trouble of the wrought of God. Remember King Saul who make a sacrifice due to Samuel, he suffer the consequences.
