Hold on a little longer

Psalms  27:14 Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

Life as a believer in christ may be very challenging sometimes, our expectation may be defeated in some cases, our expectations has always been a war free life, a life without sorrow and difficulties, a life without pain and tears

But as we journey with Him, we  seems to experience the opposite of our expectations, we come to understand that life in Christ is full of challenges.

Many have prayed, fasted, been to mountain and valley, paid offerings, sow seeds, made vows, all in the name of finding solution to persistent problems... But it seems Jesus is not noticing our life troubles.

But dear reader, Jesus said i should tell you He has always been with you, He sees and understands all you are going through...He said you should hold on a little longer, that is salvation is very near.

Hear the words He sent to you in Psalms...

"Are you troubled and your heart filled with sorrow?
Are you weary and you feel the end will soon come?
Does it seem God has forgotten you in the midst of the storm?
Hold on a little longer, for it will soon be over.

Hold on just a little longer, salvation may tarry
Hold on just a little longer, it may seems God delays
Hold on just a little longer, His presence is with you
Hold on just a little longer, the storm will soon be over

Though life may seems hard, joy may turn to depression
Sorrow may persist, laughter may turn to weeping
Hold on just a little longer, His salvation is on its way.

While you wait, pray a little longer, trust Him for than ever before
Find comfort in His words, His promises never fails
Because He make things beautiful at His own time.

When the Lord shall give salvation unto you
When the Lord shall fulfill all His promises to you
When the Lord shall turn your days of sorrow to joy
Then you shall be like them that dream.
For God will surely save, and you shall hold your peace."

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

Whatever difficulty  you are going through today, the Lord says, 'hold on a little longer'  keep trusting Him, be strong and have faith in Him... Your sorrow will eventually turn to joy in no time.

God bless you.
