Forget those things behind.

Philippians  3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

The christian life is a spiritual journey that guides our life towards heavenly home prepared by Jesus Christ for those who believed in Him.

Our  Christian Journey begins with accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Next comes the journey along the pathway of becoming Christ-Like by studying God word, prayer, and fellowship with Christians. This journey is a lifetime pursuit of doing and being what Christ would have each of us do.

After accepting Christ, we become a new creature, dropping the old nature of sin and its affection and looking forward onto Jesus...

But along the way, many of us tends to look back at what we are already set free from, many got tempted and turned the way round to reunite with the old nature of sin.

Apostle declared his confidence and presence in God as he forgets those things that could hold him back from getting to the mark Christ has set before all men.

We should not allow the things of this world to distract us from our goal of eternal dwelling, christians must never turn back to the things of this world which corrupt our spiritual life and brings us to the valley of sin the second time.

What is holding you back on this journey?, what is enticing you to look back?

Your previous life of sin can make you look back, your past co-signer friends can make you look back, riches and wealth can hold you back, fornication, adultery etc can hold you back...

Don't listen to the flesh, remember Luke  9:62 And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

Stay focused and keep going forward, for the price is waiting for you.

God bless you.
