You are the author of your life Story

Malachi  3:16 Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.

From generation to generation there has been  books of record in Jewish custom, some have the record of the Kings that ruled, some the record of judges and priests that presided over them. Saint Mathew knew this custom so he started his book with the geology of Jesus Christ.

All of everyone's actions and behaviour among men and before God were consciously written, the reason is to remind the coming generation of what happens in the past, the mistakes of the patriarchs and how they also can make amends as not to make the same mistakes.

As much as there are humanly written records, so also there are records written before God. These records were not written  by pen, not by stories told, but by our daily actions among men. Everything we do daily goes on record, and we become authors of this book.

You are the author of the version of today's diary, what are you  writing in the record?, some may be visible to men and some may be done in secret. In all you do, it is equally open before God. 

Prophet malachi gathered those that feared God from those who grumbled against God for their depression, they made their confidence sure before Him and a book of remembrance was written while God becomes the testament. 

Numbers  27:2 And they stood before Moses, and before Eleazar the priest, and before the princes and all the congregation, by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying,  27:3 Our father died in the wilderness, and he was not in the company of them that gathered themselves together against the LORD in the company of Korah; but died in his own sin, and had no sons.

 The  daughters of Zelophehad, came to Moses to claim the possession of their father because  he had no son, and to the custom of the Jews, women have no right to inheritance. But these women took a bold step and  reminded moses that their father was not one of them that did evil against God in the wilderness. 

Moses also took their matter to God, to inquire the hiden record of this man, and God affirm they speak right, so the possession of their father must be passed unto them.  Had it been their father did evil before God, they wouldn't have gotten anything among the tribes in Israel

What record are you writing for the generations to come?, all that is written about you among men are all evil, hatred, hypocrisy, backbiter, murderer, a corrupt soul etc. 

The sad thing is, your record is what will be used to judge you by God on the day of judgement.  How will you scape through the judgement of God when the day breaks and your eyes is closed in death? 

Now that you are alive, you have the privilege to rewrite the story of your life by changing your ways from evil to good, by putting on the character of God and humanity. 

Tomorrow may be too late,. 

You are the author of your life Story, write something good.
