The vessels God uses

2 Timothy  2:21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

One of the attributes of God is omniscience ; He is all-knowing. He knows man profoundly, and can say what is going to become of every of His creature.

Out of His wisdom, He designed the heavens and the earth with everything in them, of which some agents of evolution are proving otherwise but cannot change nothing about the knowledge, power and existence of God.

God uses anyone He chooses to use, and does whatever pleases Him. However, there are factors He considers in the choice of His usable vessels for godly courses.

2 Chronicles 36:22-23  brings the life and leadership of a Persian king to bear, Cyrus was of a Persian origin, He was used by God to overthrow babylonian empire. According to the prophecy that had gone before him, he proclaimed and facilitated the return of the Jewish exiles to jerusalem, and ordered the rebuilding of the Lord's temple.

One thing is very important in the vessels God uses, the heart. God works with the heart, a good man is known through what proceeds from his mouth, the heart is the principal organ of the body, it is the engine room and control center.

God searches and works with the intent of the heart. God moved the heart of Cyrus to be in conformity with his purpose. The heart determines why God uses some vessels and abandons some others.

God rejected Eliab, Abinadab, Sharmmah and other seven sons of Jesse to be king over Israel but choses David who was long away from home, because he found in him a good heart that will obey God and express His will to His people.

Who would have thought Saul the persecutor who never moved with Christ during His days  would  become Paul the Apostle with most written epistles...  His heart was met by God and became ready for the transformation.

What is the state of your heart?, man's heart is a very crucial and critical issue when it comes to God's usability.

Fill your heart with God's word, let purity, faith and holiness be your watch guard. Start by giving your heart to Him totally.

God bless you.
