The place of Safety
Psalms 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
There are many things that may bring fear into our hearts. We may face circumstances beyond our control, or fear the consequences of not meeting the expectations of the future.
Fear of unforeseen circumstances which does not occur because of our inefficiency, but occur because of the situation we find ourselves. Ultimately, they hinder our ability to live as God intended for us.
Whatever our fears and concerns are, we are assured of a place of safety in the Lord. Dwelling in the secret place of the most High is a privilege open to anyone who has yielded hi/her life to Christ.
He has promised that the father would hold us sincere in the palm of His hands and protect us as the apple of His eyes. As the choice possessions of a loving God, we can trust in His strength to keep us.
Those whose safekeeping has been assured by God include Joseph who was kept by God in the pit, in Potipshar's House and prison, and finally brought to the Palace.
God's protection prevented his death at the hands of his brothers and ensured all he did prospered. God kept Daniel, and the lions could not eat him. The three Hebrews were protected, even in the flames of fire.
Wherever we may be, if the presence of God is with us, then we can find refuse from any danger of life.
Daniel trusted God in the lion's den, Joseph trusted God in all his life threatening experiences, the three Hebrews in the flames of fire, they all came out victorious. If you can trust God in any situation, He will surely keep you in His secret place where no arrows of evil that flies by day and night cannot reach you.
Trust in God and be sure of His consistent safety. Because He is the present help in need.
God bless you.
