The Lord great in power

Nahum  1:3 The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

God is the power that created the heavens and the earth. When He said, “Let there be light!” the light came to the earth, and He created day and night. (Genesis 1) God parted the Red Sea; He made the walls of Jericho fall without a single blow. (Exodus 14:21; Joshua 6:20). Even the sun and the moon have to stand still at His command. (Joshua 10:13)

God is infinitely great. The prophet Isaiah made an attempt at describing Him: “Who has measured the waters in the hollow of His hand, Measured heaven with a span And calculated the dust of the earth in a measure? Weighed the mountains in scales And the hills in a balance?” Isaiah 40:12.

God is eternal, this is the same God with whom we can have a personal relationship. He is always the same. He is everlasting. God is patient in order to bring about His eternal and glorious plan.

When God is stirred, He changes history in order to bring to pass  His plan. He does such by working in the affairs of the nations.

When nations go wrong. He is not idle in bringing about their demise for the sake of His people. Regardless of the schemes of man, or the power of the nations, God will have His way in the affairs of the world that He created.

The fact that what God says is yet to be visible even when the time He promised seems to be walking away, God is still God and He is working things around for the good of them that loves Him.

He is the one that can use disappointment for an appointment, a setback for a step up, a delay for a double promotion, and a death for resurrection.

Don't be dismay and think God is not mighty to save and deliver or He is no more God, always remember the Lord is great in power who will never acquit the wicked but give justice for His own.

Always trust the process of God because He is great in power to save and to deliver.

God bless you.
