Majority may be Wrong
Numbers 16:23 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 16:24 Speak unto the congregation, saying, Get you up from about the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram.
Most of the time, our personal decisions are not totally determined by our personalities, they are influenced by majority decisions on the side we pitch our tent.
Since man is naturally a social being. We tend to find ourselves on a side of the other of the divides, more so, majority is believed to have their way while the minority make do with their say.
God gave a clear instruction in Exodus 23:2 Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment:, man must choose between good and evil all his lifetime, and this informs his final destination in hell or heaven.
Man tends to be influenced by majority decision, either right or wrong. God expects us to be mature enough to decipher the right (God's stand) from the wrong on all occasions, regardless of the stance in the majority.
Korah, Dathan, and Abirmn sounded popular against Moses and Aron. Those who followed them ended up in the belly of the earth.
What is your attitude towards the falsehood styles of the multitude around you in the society today?, how do you see things in vogue dressings pattern, attitude to marriage sanctity, attitude to full time ministry etc?
In fact, so many churches and Christians have been swept away by wanting to bend to where the world bends. What a disaster, are you caught in this Web? Repent now, and stand with the Holy remnants in Christ.
You might not be popular with the world, but the joy is that the great Lord and righteous judge recognises you when you are biblically principled.
Don't always follow the multitude, follow God's principles even if it means walking alone.
God bless you.
