A time to flee
Ecclesiastes 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
Every man's life is characterized by time and season. time when you are born, time u will die, time to plant and time to harvest. It was a time when man falls into sin, it was a time Jesus was sent to die for mankind. But for this sturdy, it is the time to flee
God directed the affairs of man with time because we are spiritually blind to know what will happen in times to come, so by this God reprogram or redirect man's life towards a new direction which is the best for man's life and destiny.
There is a time for every believer to flee in our journey with God, no matter how you may be endowed with God's power or grace in life.
Truly God is all powerful to save and deliver but we are humans and the best for us to do at certain point in time is to flee rather than trying to proof confidence.
When Jesus Christ was born unto Mary and Joseph, God instructed them in a vision to flee to Egypt for the life of Christ the saviour is in danger, Matthew 2:13 And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.
This was not because God cannot miraculously protect Jesus Christ from death, bur because Christ was still a baby and for him to have the natural processes of mankind.
Wisdom is profitable to direct, Joseph heeded to instruction and was able to save the life of baby Jesus, and when the time was right for him to come back. God gave the instruction.
As a believer, you need not to proof your confidence in the power of God or His grace upon your life when the spirit of God is directing you to flee
Elijah fled from Jezebel after his life was threatened, even after he just delt with the prophets of Baal, it was not an act of cowardice, but it was wise for him to flee
Joseph flee from the house of Potiphar to avoid being entrap unto fornication, he didn't trust his human nature and never wanted to sin against God.
Many vibrant soldiers of God has fallen and become caged by the devil because they waited when they ought to have fled
Don't be too confident in yourself when God is asking you to flee, waiting at a time to flee will result to unavoidable casualties which can be irreversible.
Always listen to the voice of the spirit of God.
