Tell the coming Generation

Psalms  78:5 For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children:  78:6 That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children:

Our history as humans always give us insight of where we are coming from, our experiences, falls and rises, and it also define what our tomorrow will be if we act positively on it today. 

God established a covenant and testimony in the life of Jacob and this gave birth to Israel, He raised a standard as a law for for his children which will serve as a guiding rule for them and generations to come. 

These laws makes them distinct from other nations for they are a chosen generation, and they must teach their children and children's children to have a continuity in the laws of God so it will not be lost in the space of time and for them not to suffer the consequences. 

The same covenant God made to Jacob He made also to every generation of the world through Christ Jesus. That as many who will come under this covenant must also teach the next generation of the goodness of God, His love and laws, standards and statues 

God's righteousness, holiness, love and good morals through the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ must be enforced to the coming generation. And this is only possible if the present generation continue to live in it. 

What legacy are you leaving behind for the coming generations?, how well are you upholding the standards of God in your life which will eventually be a template the coming generation will emulate to sustain their life in this perverse world?

Some children has lost good morals in the society today because their parent shows a nonchalant attitude or they themselves are not a good example to follow 

Whatever you are doing today is what the coming generation will follow. 

As your time passes, tell the coming generation of the goodness of God in the past, his laws, commands, and his love, by this, the acts of God will not be an alien to the coming generations.

1. Lord, thank you for the blessing of today in Jesus Christ name. 

2. Lord, help me to teach my children your ways in Jesus Christ name. 

3. Lord, fill the heart of today's youth with your fear and let your laws be established in their hearts in Jesus Christ name.
