Learn to do it right

John  21:6 And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.

After the failure experienced by the disciples due to their desire to make ends meet outside their master's will, Jesus, whom they thought had left them to their fate, suddenly appeared to the unsuspecting disciples, in the midst of their failure to redirect their attention towards the neglected commission.

He have specific instruction to Peter "throw your net to the right side" , and Peter didn't query the master this time. This was at the same spot where they had earlier failed.

The master's instruction shows that our experiences and knowledge notwithstanding, only Jesus can teach us to turn our failures to success.

It is not so much a matter of direction (right or left), but that of "doing it right", which the master alone can teach us to do. When we follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, we are sure to succeed.

You can have the right ingredient for a dish, but without following the right recipe for the dish, you may end up cooking rubbish

As you venture in your life, be willing to learn from the omniscient Jesus. Be open to His leading, asking Him for supernatural wisdom and direction in your entire endeavours.

God speaks, learn to listen to His word and His voice. As he leads and you follow, you can never be wrong.
