Don't be Stingy

Luke  6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Stinginess is the lack of generosity which most time is particularly referenced to money. It is the habit of not wiling to give  to others out our of your resources or abundance.

Being generous is one of the the qualities of love by which God showed the world through Christ.

Christ himself teaches the necessity to give to others out of our resources as it is one of the virtue of godliness

As much as many focused on money when the subject of giving and generosity is discussed, but little did we know that giving goes beyond money.. In fact God expect us not to be stingy with everything about us.

God gave his son to us as a ransom for our sin, the disciples were not stingy with their life, career and time. They gave all to God as a tool for the gospel of Christ.

During the ministry of Christ, a boy was not stingy with his lunch, he gave to Christ and through it, five thousand souls excluding women and children were fed comfortably and had twelve basket leftover.

Joseph of  Arimahtea was not stingy with what he has, he couldn't finance the ministry of Christ during his life time, yet he understood what he has that Christ would need, he donated his tomb for Christ's burial.

Look inward and examine yourself, there are many things you have that others are in need of, no matter how small it may seems to you, to others, it is their desired treasure

Don't be stingy with your life to God, and your resources to fellow men, such as giving your time to support others, your money, your resources, your words of knowledge to encourage others, your intercessory prayers among others

As much as you give and do not horde the blessings of God in your life, God in His mercy will give more in abundance to you. Luke  6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Don't be stingy with whatever you have, when you die nothing will follow you to the grave.

God bless you.
