Situations like Potiphar's wife

Genesis  39:7 And it came to pass after these things, that his master's wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me.  39:8 But he refused, and said unto his master's wife, Behold, my master wotteth not what is with me in the house, and he hath committed all that he hath to my hand;

 There are many situations of life that will come our way which will usher us into our greatness, and there are some that leads to total destruction of glory without remedy. 

Such is the case of Potiphar's wife in the life of Joseph. After his master had entrusted his whole household in his hands, and has also found favour in the sight of God, then comes an irresistible offer. 

Joseph lacked nothing in his masters house, in fact, he determines routine activities in the house, even being a slave, he's next to the master. 

Potiphar's wife seeks Joseph's attention daily, presenting an offer which anyone will find difficult to resist, even an offer which can make him have total authority over the house.  

But Joseph declined.

Such situations are what we have experienced or will experience at different junctions of our life. 

Even though you have a good job and a good pay, some colleagues will still come to you to divert some funds into personal pockets, lo... They are Potiphar's wives... Refusing them may cost you your job, and accepting the offer makes you an enemy of God. 

Are you seeking  for promotion at your place of work and all you need to do is to sacrifice your body?, such situation is that of Potiphar's wife 

As a pastor, are you planning to deceive the members of your church in miracles, signs and wonders just to increase the number of your members and have more tithes and offering?, such situation is that of Potiphar's wife. 

Such situations are moment of displacement from your present comfort zone, but are for a replacement at a grater place of glory 

Joseph wouldn't have become the prim-minister in a foreign land if he had accepted the offer... Even though rejecting the offer makes him go to jail for a while

Accepting Potiphar's wife offer will not let you go beyond the level you are, rather you depreciate in glory till you are completely finished. 

As a christian, you can never avoid situations like Potiphar's wife, some are placed on our path by God Himself to test our faith and approve our next level of glory. but you have the choice to reject or accept the offer.
