Evil Shepherds

Jeremiah  23:2 Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD.

In view of the subject of the verse, shepherds here apply to the Kings if Israel who led the people astray from God to embrace idolatry, 
Beginning with Solomon, the kings led the people to the idol gods of nations around them. In the most cases, the reason for this was to establish alliances for trade and economic gain. 

In like minds, most church members today have been led astray by prophets, pastor's and apostles who with greediness and selfishness established doctrines and laws which the Lord has neither shown or reveal to them. 

Some who are not called by God aligned with the devil for powers of visions, miracles, signs and wonders and have crept into the Church of God and scatter them by thier works of evil. 

Many members have been deceived and brought to abject poverty just to fulfil the purpose of the shepherds. 

Many sheep have no choice as they believe they are being led by the true shepherds who receive direction from the one true God through the Holy spirit. 

By this act, many churches have scattered, many have turn away from salvation after experiencing disappointment from the so called pastors. 

Many pastors lives a life of 'don't touch my anointed' and enforce fear into the heart of people rather than the fear of God. 

Hear what the Lord GOD says. 

Jeremiah  23:2 Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD.

God will reward you with the evil of your doings, you have scattered His people, he will scatter your home and family, you have deceived the people of God, so also shall you be deceived 

Except you repent... 

This is the time to repent from your evil ways 

This is the time for you to go back to God who has called you 

This is the time to make amends of your evil deeds, and call back the lost sheep

This this the time for you to pull of that garment of pride and humble yourself under the leading and directions of God. 

Tomorrow may be too late
