He is Sleeping

John 11:11 Then he said, “Our friend Lazarus has gone to sleep, but now I will go and waken him!” 

Lazarus was the brother of Mary and Martha, they lived on the slope of the mount of Olives East of Jerusalem 

After the sisters informed Jesus that Lazarus was seriously sick, Jesus only responded that the sickness will not to his permanent death. 

 Lazarus did die, however, Jesus knew that He would raise him from the dead. 

From the view point of God, death is but a sleep from which all saints will awake. 

Whenever a saint die, there is a believe and an assurance that such brother or sister, will rise from sleep on the last day when the Lord Jesus shall call out everyone. 

When your friends, family, relatives, co-workers, church members shall gather at your grave, weeping wailing, crying and shedding tears, will Jesus say, he/she is just sleeping?

Will you be  among those Jesus shall call out of the grave to be transformed into His glory on the last day?

Will you hear the voice of the Lord Jesus, just as lazarus heard him, and came out?

It was recorded that lazarus was Jesus's friend whom he loved deeply, are you a friend to Jesus, He only honours those He has intimacy with.

Check yourself today, do you have a relationship with Christ?

Will you sleep to wake up again or will you die to die again?

Think about it.

Prayer key:

1. Lord I thank you for today in Jesus name 

2. Lord, Help me to have intimacy with you. 

3. Lord, Help me to live a life that pleases you in Jesus name. 

4. When you shall call all Saint, grant me the grace to be reign with you in Jesus name.
