Cut the conversation with the Devil.

Matthew  4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.  4:11 Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.

The enemy has a plan for your life: to steal, kill, and destroy. God calls us to “be alert and of sober mind,” watching out for the schemes of the devil who “prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour" (1 Peter 5:8). The devil wants to devour our lives, keeping us from the joy of living in a relationship with Jesus.

After Jesus was baptised, He was led into the desert to be tempted., after a long forty days and night retreat of fasting and prayer, the devil came to tempt Jesus to sin.

The devil tried on three consecutive times to lue jesus to sin, in each of the first two attempt, Jesus gave him a corresponding answer as which we Christians of today should emulate.

But on the third attempt, Jesus was able to cut the conversation by ascertaining the fact that the devil must not tempt his Lord, and after which he departed.

Devil would have continued the conversation until Jesus falls into sin... Thank God it didn't happen.

But this is the same way the devil comes into our life, our soul and spirit, engages our thoughts on different temptations.

Form one question to the other, from one trial to the other, he will not stop until you buy into his lies and fall into his traps...

He did with Eve in the garden of Eden, she was unable to cut the conversation until she ate the fruit. (Genesis  3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.)

Same way Samson was unable to cut the relationship with Delilah being an agent of the devil for the scene... She didn't stop until Samson reveal the source of his mighty power... (Judges  16:16 And it came to pass, when she pressed him daily with her words, and urged him, so that his soul was vexed unto death;  16:17 That he told her all his heart, and said unto her, There hath not come a razor upon mine head; for I have been a Nazarite unto God from my mother's womb: if I be shaven, then my strength will go from me, and I shall become weak, and be like any other man.)

How is the devil engaging you in conversations today?, have you not fall into the his trap?, are you in the middle of the conversation?,..

It is time to cut it.

Joseph was able to cut the conversation with Potiphar's wife by running away,

The more you give devil time for his lies, the more you are close to falling into his set traps.

Stop romancing the devil, the Bible encourages us to resist him, and will flee.

Whenever he comes into your life with lies and enticing words, show him the way out.

Cut the conversation now, before he cuts your life off from God.

God bless you.
