Unholy Miracles
Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
The devil has always being in contender with God right from time immemorial before the creation of man, his downfall became evidence when he wish to raise his throne above that of God His creator, from being the arch angel to the one shove the god Almighty.( Isaiah 14:13)
But he was shamefully defeated by the host of God in heaven, he was cast into earth the habitat of man, and ever since, he always come against every plan of God.
Wherever there is the manifestation of the presence of God in the life of man, devil will surely lock around to see how he can decisively penetrate. When God builds a church, the devil builds a chapel next door.
In like manner is the miracles of God performed through those He has given powers to, His devoted servants,
Miracles are a strong act of faith, there is nothing the devil wants more than to corrupt our faith, Moses was chosen by God lead the children of Israel out of Egypt, he was given power to perform signs and wonders before pharaoh, but in that instant the devil also raised magicians in Pharaoh's cabinet to perform same miracle
Miracles, signs and wonders are not testament or proof of being a true man of God, but what makes a difference is that a true miracle will glorify God, and not man, it will exult God and not man, it is not a means fir man's profit but it is God's compassion on man.
Jesus Christ teaches that in the last days, there will be many false prophets that will appear with so many near hundred percent convincing miracles, but they are fabricated from the pit of hell. (Matthew 7:15)
So we must not lock our faith on miracles else we will miss the true God.
Sometimes our faith in God is established by the fact that God may not save us or give us the miracle we desire, but yet we will still trust in Him. The three Hebrews were perfect example, they said, even if God will not save them from the fury furnace, they will not bow down to the graven image of nebuchadnezzar. Their faith is not establish in the fact that God will save them, but in the word of God they have known.
If you are the type that run after miracles, signs and wonders instead of the true salvation in Christ Jesus, you will easily be deceived by the devil through his ordained prophets
There are many unholy miracles flooding the world today, don't sell your soul because you needed a miracle, seek God through Jesus Christ, believe in Him, stay connected with His word and you will not be lost in the maize of this world.
