Little is a Lot

Matthew  14:17 And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes.  14:18 He said, Bring them hither to me.

After a long hours of ministration, Jesus perceived the multitude must be tired and hungry, He would not want to send then back home with empty stomach because they are far away from town. Just as God knows what you are going through after devoting your time, energy and resources in serving Him.

Jesus asked His disciples to search for food by which the multitude can be fed, but as disappointing as it is, all they could get was five loaves of bread and two fishes from a young boy, probably his lunch for that day.

It was very little that it can't actually feed two grown adult not to talk of five thousand men excluding women and children. The disciples were disappointed that they suggest they send some people to go to town to buy food, but the time frame to come back is another issue.

Jesus Christ, a miracle worker was not disappointed, intact, He appreciated God for the little that was provided and thereafter pray for multiplication. The little loaves of bread and  fishes became  multiplied so much that it could feed all and still have twelve baskets left over.

Sometimes when you expect God to come big in your life, he appears in small package. You need not to be disappointed, because that small package is a key to bigger things yet to be unveiled.

The widow who's daughters were about to be taken away by creditors ran to Elisha for help, the man of God asked what does she have in her house  and she said just a little bottle of oil. Prophet Elisha was satisfied with that little, he prayed and the little bottle of oil  turned her to an oil dealer which settles her debt and also feed her family.

God asked Gideon to go to battle with just little number of soldiers, he chooses thirty-two thousand soldiers, but God only approves three hundred. With that little three hundred God gave him  a remarkable victory.

The little David was the one who defeated the mighty Goliath. One good thing about "little" is that everyone has it, the little thing God can use to make you great... Even the poor has that "little" substance which is  enough for God to turn a miserable life to a wonderful and perfect life.

All you have to do is trust him with the little in your hands, and be thankful, because that little is a key to greater manifestation of God yet to be unveiled.

He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.

Little is a Lot and much before God, Because there is nothing little that He cannot multiply

God bless you.
