God can use anyone
Isaiah 45:1 Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;
Our God is the creator of the whole world, both living and none living, man and animals inclusive, every creations are at His command whether they know or love Him or they don't. When He is ready to manifest His power and supremacy, no one can disobey His command.
Cyrus II was the king of Persia who conquered Babylon in 539 BC. He graciously issued a decree that the Hebrew captives living in Babylon could return to their homeland and rebuild the temple that was destroyed. Amazingly, through the prophet Isaiah God tells the name of his “shepherd” Cyrus well over one-hundred years before his birth, as well as what he would do when Babylon was conquered.
Cyrus was not of the Hebrew tribe. And most likely, he was devoted to the pantheon of gods favored by ancient Persians. Nevertheless, God uses him as his chosen instrument, his shepherd to deliver his people from the bondage of Babylon. Just as Moses was God’s chosen to deliver his people from Egypt, so God chooses Cyrus to deliver his people from Babylon.
God can use anyone to save you from trouble or difficulties, He can use an unbeliever to protect you from an evil attack while those you focus as believers are there unused.
Stop keeping God in a box, else you will limit the debt of the hand of his saving grace.
Egypt was a place where its citizen do not believe in the God of the Jews but in idols, yet, it served as a place of divine providence for His people, the same place that served as a refuge for Christ during the children slaughter by King herod.
Do not build a fence against those you think are your enemy through your character, behaviour and over religious attitudes, they may eventually be those God has prepared to help you in time of trouble.
God can use anyone, anything, anywhere for His glory. 1 Corinthians 1:27, NIV …God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.
God bless you.
