Keep developing Yourself

1 Samuel  16:18 Then answered one of the servants, and said, Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, that is cunning in playing, and a mighty valiant man, and a man of war, and prudent in matters, and a comely person, and the LORD is with him.

David didn't suddenly become an expert marksman with a slingshot when Goliath showed up, or a master harpist when King Saul invited him to the Palace.

He took the long, slow, disciplined route. David had no idea what his future held, he simply found joy and fulfilment in discovering and developing his gifts.

Your greatest obstacle to personal growth is not ignorance; its the illusion of knowledge. Its in believing you have 'arrived'. when that happens you see done growing, which means you're done.

Which zone do you live in?, The Challenge zone : 'I attempt to do what I haven't done before', The comfort zone; ' I only do what I already know',

Phillips Brooks said, 'Sad is the day for any man when he becomes absolutely satisfied with the life he is living, the thoughts he is thinking, and the things he is doing.

David's brother knew his skills, yet none of them told the king about him. Be encouraged, you will get there without them.(1Samuel 16:18)

David didn't compete with his brothers or complain about his status as a sheep herder. He must kept developing his relationship with God and sharpening his skills, and when the time was right God promoted him.

Today keep developing yourself, in skills, with the talent you have... Keep praying, go on with the fasting, read that book, get that certification... Increase your relationship an intimacy with God... Man may not see, but God is noticing...

When the right time comes for your to feature then you will not be empty to deliver.

God bless you.
