He that planteth and watereth

1 Corinthians 3:8 Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.

Becoming a believer in Christ gives us an important role in the family of Christ and God's kingdom

The scriptural passage reminds us that we are called to be co-workers with God, planting and watering the seeds of faith in the hearts of others.

We may have the privilege of sharing the gospel with someone, teaching them about God's love and grace. We may water the seeds that have been planted by others, by nurturing and guiding new believers in their faith. But ultimately, it is God who gives the increase, who causes the seeds of faith to grow and flourish.

As we plant and water, it is important to remember that we are not the ones who bring about the growth. We are simply instruments in the hands of God, doing our part to serve His purpose. It is God who brings the increase, and we must give Him all the glory and honor for the work that is done.

This passage also reminds us of the importance of unity in the body of Christ. We are not called to work alone, but to work together as a team. Each of us has a unique role to play, and each of us is important in the work that God is doing. We must work together, supporting one another and encouraging one another as we labor in the Lord's vineyard.

We must always remember that as we plant and water, we are simply doing the work that God has called us to do. We are called to be faithful and diligent in our work, trusting in God to bring the increase.

Let us work together, in unity and love, to fulfill God's purpose and to bring glory to His name. May God bless us all as we continue to serve Him in this way.

God bless you.
