Overcoming by the blood of the Lamb
Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Satan the old serpent is the advisory of God's people, He work against all that is good and right in order to bring into destruction the works of God.
Every thing that ever existed and will ever exist were made by the divine wisdom of God, and Satan is on the quest to destroy it, especially humans that were made in the likeness and the image of God.
He started by deceiving the first humans, and brought sin into the world, this led to the destruction of any who follow suit in the act of sin.
The blood of rams made for sacrifice as commanded by God in the old testament cannot totally take away the sins of man, instead a blameless blood is required that will totally wipe away sin.
The death of Christ and the shedding of the blood is the ultimate sacrifice powerful enough to overcome Satan the accuser of brethren
Because of Christ’s sacrifice, we can trust in the righteousness of Christ and not our own righteousness when we are accused by our enemy.
Other works of the blood of Christ in our life includes the following
1. We gain bold access to God in worship and prayer
The Bible is clear that every person is separated from God because of our sin (Romans 3:23; Colossians 1:21). That means even the best of us are unable to approach God and offer worship or prayer. Because of our sins, we remain at a distance. But through the blood, the bridge between us and God becomes reconstructed.
2. We have our consciences cleansed
The blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, [will] purify our conscience from dead works to serve the living God” (Hebrews 9:14)
This is an amazing promise, Christ cleanses our consciences from acts that lead to death! How does He do it? He offered Himself—His unblemished, perfect life—as a sacrifice to God for us on account of our sins.
3. We are rescued out of a sinful way of life
You were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot. (1 Peter 1:18-19)
The blood of Christ is powerful to save and give us victory over the accuser Satan, only if we can humble ourselves before God and ask to be joined in the new covenant which is in the blood of Jesus Christ.
You cannot be free from the devil without the blood of Christ. It is free for anyone who ask for it.
