Being justified by Faith

Romans  5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

Justification  means to be made just, right or righteous. That is not man's natural state, as we all know. The Bible says: “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).

It is  impossible for anybody to be justified by works or by obedience to the commandments or by doing  good.  Apostle Paul said  “Knowing that a man is not justified [declared righteous] by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified” (Galatians 2:16).

Grace is God’s part and the ground of justification, Blood is Christ’s part and the means of justification, Faith is our part and the how of justification

The result of our justification through our faith is peace with God. Our peace was once lost in the garden of Eden through sin of Adam, we have then lived in fear, agony and pain.  The peace of  the comfort within, harmony among humanity and our spiritual peace, which is between God and  man was lost

The scripture  outlines how sin damages or wipes out all of our  peace. When God created man, he was at peace with God, himself, and everyone else. However, that peace was lost when he turned against God. Peace can be restored, but we can’t do it alone. God provided a way.

Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, was sent to our world to take away our sins. He did so by allowing Himself to be crucified, and it was that sacrifice that made it possible for us to have peace again, peace within ourselves, peace with each other and peace with God.

Our faith in Christ gives us the boldness to come before the Father without fear or guilty conscience, we have the privilege to be reunited with Him.

Even when you do not see God's promises yet, you have faith, there is a natural peace in your heart that all is well. Father Abraham did not fret in expectation of God's promises and was justified by His faith.

You can never experience the true peace with God and among men if you are yet to be justified by faith in Christ Jesus.

Let your faith be rooted in God today so as to enjoy the ultimate peace that comes from God.

God bless you.
