You are an abomination unto God
Deuteronomy 25:16 For all that do such things, and all that do unrighteously, are an abomination unto the LORD thy God.
Our God is a just and perfect being, blameless, holy and righteous in acts and deeds...
He commands us to worship, serve and have reverence for Him, in a bid to continually strengthen our relationship with Him till Christ comes to take us home to be with Him forever.
Nevertheless, there are many things that we have began to do, both in His presence and among our fellow humans which are abomination before Him.
The sacrifices of praise, thanksgiving, worship, prayers, tithes and offerings, if they are brought from a wicked act or from a wicked means are abominations before God. They remain unaccepted and retards the presence of God. "The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight. (Proverbs 15:8)"
Are you the one that initiate evil thoughts against another person?, you are the one that always think evil against fellow humans and initiate plans through which they will fall, all you do are abominations before God. " The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the LORD: but the words of the pure are pleasant words. (Proverbs 15:26)"
You don't do evil but you justify those who do and you condemn the righteous, because of your selfish interest, because of fear, because of your personal gain, because of tribalism and favouritism... Sir/ma, you are an abomination to God... " He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the LORD.(Proverbs 17:15)"
If you have Haughty eyes, a lying tongue,And hands that shed innocent blood, you are a consecrated abomination before God (proverb 6:17)
You stand as a false witness who utters lies, And one who spreads strife among brothers, you are given a token to spread propaganda against someone which is not true, you are an abomination to God.
Dear proud in heart, no one can correct you, whatever you do is right in your eyes, and you think you are a god and no one can reach your peak, let me tell you that, you are an abomination before God. (proverb 16:5)
Are you the one that Differ weights and measures, market women that has padded measures in other to make more profit, civil servant who padded figures in other to make swift money,..
All you do and you yourself are abomination before God.
What about you that breath of Jealousy, bitterness, and indignation. You are expected to present yourself as living sacrifice unto God, holy and acceptable, but the evil you breath out has made you an abomination, and a rejected sacrifice unto the Holy God.
He is calling you to repentance, change from your wicked ways and turn to the way of righteousness
No matter how fat your sacrifice is, no matter your long days of prayers and fasting, if there be an element of abomination in you, they can never be acceptable before God, "For all that do such things, and all that do unrighteously, are an abomination unto the LORD thy God (Deuteronomy 25:16)"
Now is the time to repent. Tomorrow may be too late.
