Work when you should.
Exodus 34:21 Six days thou shalt work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest: in earing time and in harvest thou shalt rest
God was the first person to ever work, he created the heavens, the earth, and even man for good six days and in the seventh day He rested
After the creation of man, even after God had provided everything man needed in the garden, God still command man to till the land and keep it... "And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. (Genesis 2:15)
Jesus christ didn't come first, for man to be wealthy or rich, He came for our salvation and reunion back to God contrary to many who tarry in places of prayer, praying for blessings and wealth and spending little time on work or even stay idle
God has created systems in this world that manages the channels through which we can be blessed, and that is based on our work, business etc.
Man must work in other to live above poverty and hunger, " In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury.(proverb 14:23)
God do not request offerings from an idle man, your tithes and offering He requested is not from your capital which is expected to work with... God request tenth part of the profit from your proceeds, harvest etc... "Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse... (Malachi 3:10)
Bringing tithes and offering from your capital in other for you to be blessed is not a plan God institute...
The institution of God for blessings and increase is for you to work with your capital and brings titles and offerings of your profit which is a means through which your harvest can be enlarged, a means by which God preserve your investment even if there is inflation, draught, farming or economic meltdown.. " Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. Malachi 3:10)
God do not bless an idle man, if He will bless you, there must be something you are doing, there must be something you have worked on...
The only set of people God commands not to work are those in "full time ministry" because they work for God, even at that, God gives them privilege to have investments and business handled by others..
Don't be lazy, go out and work and ask God to bless the works of your hand. "Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established. (proverb 16:3)"
Don't waste the time you ought to work in the house of God praying... Six days God gave you to work and just a day to serve Him.
Don't be idle, don't be lazy... God blesses the works of your hand and not your idleness.
