The ignorance of the person of Christ.
John 4:10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
After the ministration of our Lord Jesus Christ in Judea, He decided to travel to Galilee, but He must pass through Samaria,
The Lord sat at the well at around sixth hour after being wearied with the journey, a woman from samaria came by to draw water from the well, but she new not who the Christ was. John 4:1-13 speaks the whole story.
In like manner many of us are ignorant of the person of Christ we claim to believe and have accepted as our Lord and personal Saviour
Ignorance is the condition of being uninformed or uneducated, lack of knowledge or information about something or soomeone.
Many live their lives on proxy, believing Christ through the testimony of others, whereas they themselves have not had an encounter with Christ Himself.
And when they meet themselves in an ugly situation they resorted to believe that Christ is not powerful to save or mighty to deliver.
Most of our stories of salvation only ends that day and the light of God released upon our lives died that same day.
Apostle Peter was once in the same scenario, after walking and working for Christ, it got to a point, He denied Him. But on the day of pentecost, after having an encounter, he boldly declared Christ as the true saviour.
The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
The old nature of sin is transformed and renewed, we no longer live under the bondage of sin and law... We have been released from every works of the devil and we have the boldness to approach God personally without the help of a priest.
But today, witches and wizards still trouble you, you are still afraid of the generational course that pulls your parents down the journey of success.
You depend on prophets when God Can make them the prophet of yourself... I'm not against the office of the prophet, but if that prophet dies today, do you still have God?
If there is total lockdown on churches today and not open forever, will your Level in Christ now sustain you for days to come?
If Christ truly be in you, you can never live in sin... 1 John 3:6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
As a believer in Christ, we posses Everything Jesus posses, speaking of grace, power, favour, fire etc... We become the carrier of His presence everywhere we go
If Christ is the way and the truth, why are you then deceived by the lies of false teachers and prophets and men of the devil that calls themselves men of God? But for our lack of the knowledge of truth, we still live under the slavery of sin and lies
Check yourself today, have you not been ignorant of Christ?..
Have you ever had an encounter with Christ before?
Do you have a direct access to the Father or someone is helping you?
Christ is given to all, and we all have direct access to the father through Him.
If you have been ignorant of the person of Christ, today is the day to have an encounter with Him.
Today is the day to know the truth and be delivered from the slavery of lies you have put yourself into.
You can have an encounter with Him, by reading the scriptures and praying earnestly
Your life will never remain the same once you have an encounter with Him.
