Those God predestinate

Romans  8:30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

Predestination, in simple terms, is God's divine plan and foreknowledge concerning the salvation of individuals. It's His purposeful choice, made before the foundations of the world, about who would be called into His family.

The verse breaks down God's plan into four essential steps:
      1. Predestination: God's choice and plan.
      2. Calling: God's invitation to salvation.
      3. Justification: God's declaration of righteousness.
      4. Glorification: God's ultimate destination for believers.

I. Predestination and God's Sovereignty

Our understanding of predestination begins with the recognition of God's sovereignty over all creation. He is the Author and Finisher of our faith.

Predestination is a part of God's intricate plan for the salvation of His chosen people. It reveals His wisdom and perfect knowledge of the future. God's plan is unchangeable and dependable. His faithfulness to His promises reassures us that He can be trusted.

II. The Call to Respond

God's call is His invitation to salvation, extended to all humanity through Christ Jesus. It's a call to repentance, faith, and reconciliation with Him.

Emphasize that while God's call is universal, our response is individual. We must respond with faith, accepting the gift of grace, and surrendering our lives to Christ.

III. The Process of Justification and Glorification

Through faith in Christ, we are justified – declared righteous before God. It's not based on our works but on His redemptive sacrifice.

Also, glorification is our ultimate destiny as believers. We will be transformed, and our eternal life in the presence of God will be a testament to His grace.

IV. The Assurance of Salvation

God is faithful to complete the work He has begun in us. Our assurance of salvation is anchored in His faithfulness, not our own merits.

We must always find comfort and assurance in the knowledge that those God predestined, He also glorifies. It's a source of hope and security in our Christian journey.

Nevertheless, our response to God's call will determine our justification in Him, we must be obedient to His words and will so we can measure up to His satisfaction so we can be justified at the latter end.

In conclusion, our God is a loving and sovereign God who works all things together for the good of those who love Him. He has called us, justified us, and He will ultimately glorify us.

Let us pray for wisdom and understanding, and may our lives be a testament to His grace and glory. Amen.

God bless you.
