Nemesis (back from the past)

2 Kings  10:7 And it came to pass, when the letter came to them, that they took the king's sons, and slew seventy persons, and put their heads in baskets, and sent him them to Jezreel.

 10:10 Know now that there shall fall unto the earth nothing of the word of the LORD, which the LORD spake concerning the house of Ahab: for the LORD hath done that which he spake by his servant Elijah.

Nemesis is a source of harm or ruin: punishment administered in return for a wrong committed

 A penalty imposed for wrongdoing: a punishment imposed for a violation of law.

King Ahab did evil in the sight of the Lord by killing Naboth because of his vineyard,  which makes God pronounce judgment upon him.  *1kings 21:21-24*

Though he prayed,  but God transfered the punishment unto his children,  which came to pass in the text above,  leaving seventy sons of Ahab to be killed in a day. 

This is a point to note,   everything we do either good or bad to people around us,  will definitely come back to us or to our children.  No matter how  long it may take. 

What the wicked fears will come on him; what the righteous desire will be granted.- Proverbs 10 : 24

Check your life,  your character and behaviour,  at work,  in school,  at home,  if  is  worthy of a Christian. 

God us fully aware of what you are doing and you will reap whatever you sow,  either good or bad.

If you make people to cry,  one day either you or your children will also be made to cry 

If you cheat on people,  one day,  your generation will be cheated upon

If you make people to suffer,  one day,  your generation will also be made to suffer

Your suffering today might equally be the nemesis of the sins of your parent or past generations. 

Change your ways of life today,  so as to save your life and  the coming generation. 

Nemesis never dies,  but only sleeps,  at the appointed time,  it will wake up,  with vengeance
