Without the fear of God
Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. 1:9 For they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck. 1:10 My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.
The fear of the Lord is not about living in terror of God. Instead, it is about having a deep respect, reverence, and awe for His majesty and authority. It is recognizing His power and holiness and responding with worship and obedience. This fear is the foundation of true knowledge because it places God at the center of our understanding.
