Whoredom and Wine

Hosea  4:11 Whoredom and wine and new wine take away the heart.  4:12 My people ask counsel at their stocks, and their staff declareth unto them: for the spirit of whoredoms hath caused them to err, and they have gone a whoring from under their God.

Whoredom is a word mostly used by God while speaking to the children of Israelite when they follow another God. literally, it means prostitution or other promiscuous sexual activity.

Man has always sort for what can satisfy his desire, and have nothing order than whoredom or wine. When drunk, man seems to have satisfy his will for the flesh.

Nevertheless, whoredom and being drunk with wine is a sin against the flesh which God has warned man against, it destroys the integrity of man, makes him poor and drags many to hell.

When Noah received the commission to begin the new era of humanity, free of sin and wickedness, he became drunk with wine and from such, his son made mockery of his nakedness. The result was a curse against Canaan.

The children of Israel commited whoredom with the Egyptians, they forget their God and thus increased their sinful desire. This made them to long for a return to Egypt while on their way to the promise land forgetting the mighty power of God. They sort to satisfy the desire of their heart instead of God's will, they all perish in thee wilderness.

Whoredom will set your spiritual guard lose, Samoan lost it on the lap of Delilah, he died with his enemies.

If you are the type that loves whoredom and wine, you open the gate of your family to the enemy, your growth, physically and spiritually will depreciate, the presence of God will be far from you, and it will be difficult for you to enjoy His grace.

Repent from the sin of whoredom and wine, reunite your life back with God, be consistent with the Holy spirit and your life  will receive a new turn.
