Ruth's dealing process

Ruth  1:16 And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:

Ruth was the daughter-in-law of Naomi, whose husband died after their father without a grand children.

She was a moabite who serves other gods aside the God of Israel, her union in marriage compelled her to become a worshipper of the God of Israel.

Her travail being a widow did not stop her to return with Naomi her mother-in-law even after several pleading. She had a beautiful future lined out but luck was not on her side as sorrow became her new story.

Despite the ugly experiences, she remain  unbroken, she continued steadfastly with her mother-in-law and hoping for a better tomorrow, and eventually, God favoured her and even her  seed gave birth to King david.

What are you going through that seems so difficult?, you may have a ugly past which is enough to give up on the beautiful future, you may be down with so much pain and sorrow.   Don't give up, God is right by your side, He will make you recover and give you lasting peace.

All she went through was her dealing process, it was a time of her making, she painstakingly married someone who is not of her origin, even when he died, she refused to let go of her mother-in-law. She diligently cared for her, and eventually her time of greatness came when she met Boaz, not only that, she also became Progenitor of our Lord Jesus Christ

Joseph had a similar dealing  process, he was first hated by his brothers, thrown into a dry pit, sold into slavery and accused of rape. But eventually, he became a prime minister. All he went through was his dealing process.

What you are going through now is a dealing  process, a time of shaking and a time of pruning. No matter how painful or sorrowful the period may be, don't give up, your time of appearing and greatness is near.

1. Lord, thank you for the blessing of today in Jesus Christ name.

2. Lord, help me to stand firm in your will during my dealing process in Jesus Christ name.

3. Lord, any area I have deviated from your will, bring back to it in Jesus Christ name.
