Ruth's time of reward
Ruth 2:11 And Boaz answered and said unto her, It hath fully been shewed me, all that thou hast done unto thy mother in law since the death of thine husband: and how thou hast left thy father and thy mother, and the land of thy nativity, and art come unto a people which thou knewest not heretofore. 2:12 The LORD recompense thy work, and a full reward be given thee of the LORD God of Israel, under whose wings thou art come to trust.
God is a rewarder! God has said much about rewarding His servants. Sometimes it comes when we least expected, it may look like it will never come but certainly, God always reward His people
Yesterday we talked about the dealing process of Ruth, highlighting her travail, sorrowful journey and how she didn't relent in being diligent and hardworking, caring for her mother-in-law. Her patience and diligence paid off at the end of the day.
Ruth's reward for her devotion and faithfulness can be seen in her being blessed with a loving husband, a secure future, and a place in the lineage of Christ.
Ruth 4:13-17 "So Boaz took Ruth, and she became his wife. And when he went in to her, the Lord gave her conception, and she bore a son. Then the women said to Naomi, “Blessed be the Lord, who has not left you this day without a redeemer, and may his name be renowned in Israel! He shall be to you a restorer of life and a nourisher of your old age, for your daughter-in-law who loves you, who is more to you than seven sons, has given birth to him."
This passage highlights the fulfillment of God's promise to provide for His people and the blessings that come from following His commands. Ruth's reward serves as an encouragement for us to trust in God and follow His ways, even in difficult circumstances.
Also Joseph our second case study became a prime minister in the foreign land, his faithfulness in God prepared a place for him in the King's Palace, he became a source of survival for his father and wicked brothers during famine, through him, Egypt was blessed and never lack through the time of famine.
Trust in God for whatever you are going through, your reward is on the way.
God bless you.
