Unrighteous Decrees

Isaiah  10:1 Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed;

The anger of the Lord is here expressly declared against the oppressor, God judges those who are in authority over men

The Lord is against all unrighteous decrees, unnatural alliances, and evil acts . "Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed"

 Scribes or registrars  are who preserve all the forms of the court, and keep their pens busy upon the court register, writing down every case, and appearing to do the business correctly and thoughtfully; and yet, these  registrars were themselves plotting "to take away the right from the poor, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless." 

The court of law was turned into a means of robbery, as it is in nearly every country under the sun. The scribes who wrote down the law were men who secretly or overtly broke it. 

 God's anger is against those who suppose to uphold the law but breaks it, those who only with their power oppress the poor and the needy but favours the rich and wealthy.

They boycott judgement, they free the guilty and out in prison the innocents, they appear to be the defender of the oppressed but they themselves are the oppressor. God will not spear them in His vengeance. 

If you are among those who falls in this category, it is best to change so the anger of God can be averted from you. 

No one who fails to repent can  escape the rod of God's anger.
