We live in a negative world,  this Negative world has Many problems that characterised it.  We are affected by  the world's trouble, raging from violence,  abortion,  home  breakups, child abuse,  Hospitals, prisons among others.  But we are not to be Negative People,  we are to focus on positive thoughts and praise,  Things that true,  honest and just Things that are pure,  lovely, and  of good report. Still some Christians are Negative.... Complaining how can we ever stay positive in this Negative world? Proverbs  16:5 Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished. Proud is to be Possessed of a due sense of what one is worth or deserves,  Generating a sense of pride; being a cause for pride. Pride is what makes someone to look down on others , it makes someone thinks one can succeed without help. The book of Daniel  chapter 4 tells the story of King Nebuchadnezzar,  He  thinks highly of himself and does not recognize nor confess that God rules and not man. Nebuchadnezzar believes that “he” is in control and that “he” has built a great empire. He believes that the gods favor him over others. The One True God is getting ready to humble this individual that is consumed with the sin of pride. Many are proud of their Spiritual lives,  Many are proud of their Talents /Gifts Many are proud of their social/ethnic background, Many are proud of their  educational qualifications and economical power. Ecclesiastes  3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: Whether rich or poor, young or old, everyone on earth has 24 hours per day to themselves. Each day is like a portmanteau handed over to each person to embark on the journey called Life. Life is short and secure, it is like a shadow, a flying shuttle, a hurrying messenger, a weavers web and a vanishing vapour . Today is the time to invest in your life. Time flies . Don't procrastinate,  or you will not get anything done Don't be lazy,  or you will regret at the end of the day. Disassociate from wrong company,  they waist away your time Identify what is important and capable of bringing positive cumulative effort to your life today and commit to doing them immediately. Your time is ticking ... May God help you to actualize your time.

2 Kings  4:2 And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil. This was the story of the wife of one of the sons of prophets,  who died at his prime,   This woman was left with two great burdens of life, Death and Debts. The creditors came to foreclose on her boys to be slave  This woman went quickly to seek the wisdom and help of  God ...  Blessed is the woman who knows where to go when her family is in need.   Elisha considering her problem,  "what shall I do for you,  what hast thou in the house?  The response of the woman pave way for God's blessing to penetrate,  she said I have nothing but only a pot of oil.   That  could have been an anointing oil which is not enough,   But that serve as the tuning point.  *Note:* Elisha could have given her money to sort things out,  but he wanted her to have a source of blessing.

Numbers  14:8 If the LORD delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey. The land of Cannan which God promised the Israelite was fully occupied by giant and great men. By the reasoning of man,  one would think the place suppose to be empty and vacant,  but the revers is the case  That never stop God from displacing them and placing His own people there . It doesn't  matter if your promise land has been occupied , It doesn't  matter if the place you ought to work has no vacancy. It doesn't matter if your rightful husband/wife has already been engaged  What needs to be done is God to displace some for you to be placed. Not because  God is wicked,  but because they are obstructions to your destiny. and it is your time to occupy. Remember : Saul was displaced for David to be placed. Matthew  26:23 And he answered and said, He that dippeth his hand with me in the dish, the same shall betray me. The little girl's love 2 Kings  5:2 And the Syrians had gone out by companies, and had brought away captive out of the land of Israel a little maid; and she waited on Naaman's wife.  5:3 And she said unto her mistress, Would God my lord were with the prophet that is in Samaria! for he would recover him of his leprosy. Reading from the verse above,  you would see that,  nothing was known about this very little girl,  Not her name,  no traces of her root(parent),   but her act of love brought her to limelight. She was not bothered about herself being in captivity, She was not depressed even when her parent were killed, Her actions speaks volume of her undying faith in her God,  in a strange land Despite being in the house of her parent's murderer,  she never forget the love of God.  Action point How are you relating with people around you? John  4:14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. One  sin you think is little,  can grow Bigger and bigger to a mighty destroyable sin if not confessed on time . James  1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. How many words have you heard and how many of the word have you preached ? During sermons, lectures, bible sturdy ? , sunday schools, believers class?, cooperate or one-on-one? , on the radio , or television ? , tracts or social media? In all this ... ...How many have you acted upon ? How many have you made use of? It goes beyond hearing and preaching it You can recite the whole of the Bible (it makes no meaning to God ; even the devil can) The most important is being the doer of the word. You don't live by the word alone , you let the word lives in you. The word of God is not just the passport to heaven but the way you must follow. Jesus Christ is the word that must live in us Don't be like Judas,  who know too well of Jesus the word,  and yet miss the way.  As a minster,  let the word minister to you. As a teacher,  let the word teaches you. As a preacher, 

Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; All things are from God, through him and to him, The reason you are alive is not because of your work of righteousness The money you have is neither a means to your happiness nor a means to your joy, it's probably for your sustainability. Everything we ever and can ever be is purely the mercy and grace of God. Glorify God with the life you have now, not in your works or knowledge. Your substance can vanish in a minute, your wisdom can become foolishness, your life can end in a seconds, your works of righteousness can turn to filthy rags, but glory in God who is eternal. As you start the year 2019, for you not to end the year in vanity and complain , who or what have you chosen as your God? Whoever or whatever you choose as your master , of it you have become its slave .
