Trust in the Lord
Psalms 9:7 But the LORD shall endure for ever: he hath prepared his throne for judgment. 9:8 And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness. 9:9 The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. 9:10 And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
In the above verses, we witness a powerful proclamation of God's eternal reign, His righteous judgment, and His unwavering refuge for those facing oppression and trouble. The core message is clear: trust in the Lord, for He is the steadfast foundation upon which our lives find purpose and meaning.
The psalmist begins by acknowledging the eternal reign of the Lord. In a world filled with uncertainties, we find assurance in the unchanging nature of our God.
His throne is established for judgment, and His rule is characterized by righteousness and equity. This recognition forms the bedrock of our trust in Him.
Life is filled with challenges, and we often find ourselves in the midst of trouble. The psalmist reassures us that the Lord is not a distant observer but a refuge for the oppressed. In moments of despair, we can turn to Him, finding strength and solace in His unwavering presence.
The truth we should uphold is that, those who know the name of the Lord trust in Him. Our relationship with God is not based on mere knowledge but on a deep and personal understanding of His character. Trust is built on the foundation of knowing that God is faithful, just, and merciful.
The Lord has never forsaken those who seek Him. If our trust is well-placed, the God we serve is faithful to be enough for us in anytime we need him in our life
As we continue our life journey, let us renew our commitment to trust in the Lord. In the face of uncertainties, let His sovereignty be our anchor. In times of trouble, let His refuge be our sanctuary. May we, like the psalmist, confidently declare that those who know His name will indeed trust in the Lord, for He has never forsaken those who seek Him.
God bless you.
