God can do anything
Psalms 146:7 Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The LORD looseth the prisoners: 146:8 The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous: 146:9 The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down. 146:10 The LORD shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye the LORD.
God is infinite all-powerful, all-knowing, and all-capable. There are no limits to what God can do. He is not limited by the constraints of the world.
The Psalmist expressed wonderful deeds done by the mighty hand of God, such as in verse 7 "The Lord sets prisoners free." This powerful statement reminds us that God's ability to liberate extends beyond physical chains to the captivity of sin and despair that ensnares our hearts.
Verse 8 implores us to recognize the majesty of our God, who "opens the eyes of the blind" and "lifts up those who are bowed down." In this, we witness the miraculous touch of the supernatural, mending brokenness and restoring wholeness to every facet of our lives.
Our God, who formed the heavens and the earth, remains intimately involved in the intricate details of our existence, ready to uplift us from the depths of our struggles.
Let us not forget the sovereignty of our God, as expressed in the concluding verses. "The Lord reigns forever, your God, O Zion, for all generations." Here, we find solace in the unchanging nature of our Heavenly Father.
God's omnipotence is not confined to a specific era or circumstance; it transcends time and space, offering a source of strength and security for all generations.
As we continue in our life journey, let our hearts be filled with a renewed understanding of the omnipotence of our God. Let us approach our daily lives with the confidence that nothing is beyond His reach, for indeed, "with God, all things are possible" (Matthew 19:26).
In whatever difficult situation we may find ourselves, God is there to help and deliver, our hope and faith must be rooted in Him, His past feat in the life of our patriarchs should give us confidence that we will not abandon us half way because he is powerful and can do anything.
May we find comfort in knowing that the same God who created the heavens and the earth is actively at work in our lives, bringing about redemption, healing, and deliverance.
God bless you.
