Gratitude

Jeremiah  30:19 And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.

Gratitude is not merely a fleeting emotion but a transformative attitude that can shape our lives. As we navigate the complexities of our journey, it's easy to focus on what we lack, but Jeremiah reminds us to find songs of thanksgiving in our hearts.

Gratitude is a powerful force that magnifies the blessings we have, even in challenging times. It is an acknowledgment of the goodness that surrounds us, a recognition of the divine hand at work in our lives. Just as God  promises an increase in numbers and honor, our gratitude opens doors to abundance and blessings beyond our understanding.

In a world often filled with discontent, cultivating gratitude becomes a revolutionary act. It redirects our focus from scarcity to abundance, from complaints to celebration. It transforms ordinary moments into extraordinary gifts, and it allows us to see the hand of God working in every aspect of our lives.

Let us be like the grateful recipients in Jeremiah's words, embracing the melodies of thanksgiving and the echoes of rejoicing. In gratitude, we find the key to resilience, joy, and a deeper connection with the divine. As we celebrate the gift of another day and a new month, may our hearts resonate with gratitude, and may we, too, experience the honour and abundance promised in the scripture.

Be grateful what all you have, all you do not have, the challenges you face, the battles you won, the victories you attain and even the failure that slow down your journey. All these happens because there is still breath in you.

In conclusion, let us remember the words of Meister Eckhart: "If the only prayer you ever say in your entire life is thank you, it will be enough." May our lives be a continuous prayer of gratitude, echoing the timeless wisdom found in Jeremiah 30:19.
