Putting differences between Holy and unholy

Leviticus 10:8 And the LORD spake unto Aaron, saying, 10:9 Do not drink wine nor strong drink, thou, nor thy sons with thee, when ye go into the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations: 10:10 And that ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean;

In a world filled with various influences and conflicting values, it becomes crucial for us, as followers of the Almighty, to discern between the holy and the unholy. The call to distinguish between the sacred and the profane is not merely a commandment but a guide for righteous living.

Many have lost sight of the holiness of God and therefore make little to no distinction between those things that are holy and those things that are unholy.

Many believers can no longer be distinguished from none believes, what is morally right but unholy to God has been accepted in the community of Christ and the world is gradually finding itself into the church without repentance.

Firstly, let us acknowledge that holiness is not a mere ritual or external practice; it involves the state of our hearts. Leviticus 10:10 encourages us to recognize the sanctity in our daily lives, in our thoughts, actions, and relationships. By doing so, we honour the sacredness that God has instilled within us.

As we navigate through a world often filled with moral ambiguity, the scripture invites us to uphold a standard of holiness. This standard is not meant to isolate us but to set us apart, to be a light that illuminates the path of righteousness. Our choices and conduct should reflect the purity and virtue that characterise the holy.

Moreover, discernment is a spiritual gift that aids us in distinguishing between what is holy and what is not. Through prayer, meditation, and the study of God's Word, we can cultivate this gift, allowing it to guide us in the decisions we make, the company we keep, and the values we uphold.

In our journey of faith, let us strive to be vessels of holiness, recognizing the divine spark within ourselves and others. By embracing this calling, we not only honour God's command but also contribute to creating a society that reflects the values of the Kingdom.

In conclusion, the life of Christ and His teaching is our model for godly living, and having the holy spirit in us will make us distinguish between Holy and unholy no matter how similar it may seems.

God bless you.
