Step back and see the Bigger Picture

1 Corinthians  16:9 For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries. One day the chamber of commerce in a small town invited a successful businessman to come and speak. The local economy was bad and they were discouraged, so his job was to motivate them. He took a large pice of white paper and made a red dot in the center of it. " What do you see?" he asked the audience. One person replied, "I see a red dot." the speaker said, "fine, but what else do you see?" others echoed in, "A red dot". The speaker asked, "Don't you see anything else besides the dot?" the audience responded with a resounding no, the speaker said "you have overlooked the most important thing, you've missed seeing the sheet of paper, then he went on to explain that in life we are often distracted by small, dot-like failures and experiences". They keep us from seeing the blessings and successes that are more imp

Salvation is not Free

Philippians  3:7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.  3:8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, Free gifts are gifts given without strings attached, not every commodity has a price tag, but terms and Conditions must be strictly adhered to.  Salvation in christ was never and still not Free for man kind, though the fundamental knowledge of man says otherwise...  It cost God his only son for we to be saved  It cost Jesus Christ His life for we to be redeemed  It cost the devil the  whole of his life to fight against it  It cost the disciples their respective jobs, fame, personalities and comfort zones, persecution and even death for the message of salvation to reach you and I  Apostle Paul was able to express  all salvation cost Him,  It cost him his position, it cost him his profession as a

Your Faith On Trial

1 Peter  4:12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:  4:13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. Faith in God doesn't exempt you from life's trials; it sustains you in them and you grow stronger as a result of them. Trials come in different areas such as sickness, unemployment, relational conflict, and personal challenges. And trails, like storms, have different intensity levels. But most trials have one thing in common: they make you say, 'if only I could understand why this is happening.' The Bible answers this : many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all (Psalm 34:19) God is not a Santa Claus or your concierge, it's not His job to give you everything you want, exactly when you want it, He has His own time frame for everything.

Wilderness Experience

Joshua  1:1 Now after the death of Moses the servant of the LORD it came to pass, that the LORD spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' minister, saying,  1:2 Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel. Unto every wilderness experience, there must be a Joshua that will survive it.  His survival is not based on the fact that he must live, but that  he has a purpose to accomplish for God.  Moving from Egypt to Cannan was not an easy journey  They have experienced so many difficulties at some point, many died out of disobedience, but in spite all, Joshua survived it.  With the present global pandemic...  Many are dead already, many are in critical conditions  Many are afraid of getting infected  World leaders are helpless  The wise men suddenly becomes foolish  Doctors can no longer heal themselves  The dead can't be buried as before  The prophets became blind

You can Start Again

Proverbs  24:16 For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again:... Have you been down to earth before? Have you fallen  into temptation to the point of losing your self esteem in christ among believers? Christ is saying, you can start all over again. Becoming a  believer in Christ Jesus doesn't mean you are free from temptations. Such temptations are projected to weaken your spirituality, to condemn you, and finally to rip you off your place on christ. Apostle Paul was once in our shoes... He once denied Jesus, He once looked back on the path of righteousness.. But thanks to God for the saving grace found in Christ  No matter how many times you fall... You will rise again With God on your side, you can begin again because the power to do it resides within you. It's the same power that raised Christ from the dead. Don't ever give up, the devil will never stop...  The devil only win the battle  when you fall bellow the ground, but as much as you are still living... Y

All For God

Philippians  3:8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, Before you discover your God given purpose in life, you'll often experience a series of adversity that cause you to give up what's temporal and embrace what's eternal. Apostle Paul,  recounted the loss of every Earthly possessions... When you loose what you thought is everything to you,  that point you are  stripped down to what you had before.  Just like Job, loosing children, wealth, friends, and fame but not his character and faith in God.  When you can lay upon the altar something you thought you had to have because you realize it was God all along..  God didn't requested the death of Isaac on the alter Abraham made, but want to know if there was anything Abraham loved more than Him. Until you reach a place where you can lay everything you trust

It's God's Investment

Judges  13:5 For, lo, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and no razor shall come on his head: for the child shall be a Nazarite unto God from the womb: and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines. Samson was a son of prophecy, a Nazarite of God, a child God himself  sent to deliver His people from the hand of the oppressor.  God so much invested in him with power to the extent no one has never recorded such in the history of man... What a great investment.  But sadly he misused the grace God gave him, dishonoured his Earthly mentor and went on his own decision to align with the enemy.  Today, you are the investment of God... The gift, the time, wisdom, knowledge and Understanding He has given you is not just for fun... But for investment.  How well have you been trading?  Truly Samson started well, but it was unfortunate he didn't end well, he rather choose to die with the enemy... Such victory is never a victory but failure.  What have you been doing

Your God is Unlimited

Jeremiah  32:17 Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee: God can solve any problem, because He is not bound by any human limitations  He is not limited  by time, God can do in an instant what would have taken years  He can speed up the natural process of your healing, He can accelerate your harvest of blessing so that you'll be sowing with one hand and be harvesting with the other  God is never limited by lack, He created all things and everything is at his disposal... He turn five loves of bread and two fishes into thousands, brought money from the mouth of the fish, and make manner to fall like rain to feed the children of Israel in the wilderness...  He is not limited by by anything... He made donkey to talk, made an Axe-head to float, and a corpse come back to life after four days, ... You definitely don't have a problem He can't solve, all you have to do is to believe.

Godliness

Godliness 1 Timothy  4:8 For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come. Jesus lives a selfless and sacrificial life while on Earth, His death brought life, His resurrection gave birth to our salvation. Know Jesus is not enough, but living His life, walking His ways and doing His words is the prerequisite of ending well with Him. For His death and resurrection to make meaning in our life, we need Godliness.. NO higher compliment can be paid to a Christian than to call him a godly person. He might be a conscientious parent, a zealous church worker, a dynamic spokesman for Christ, or a talented Christian leader; but none of these things matters if, at the same time, he is not a godly person. godliness is no optional spiritual luxury for a few quaint Christians of a bygone era or for some group of super saints of today. It is both the privilege and duty of every Christian to pursue god

God is with you, In spite of the Circumstances

Hebrews  13:5  ... for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. God fulfilled his words in the life of Joseph in the book of Genesis 39, the Bible says, "the Lord was with Joseph." But that didn't exempt him from jealousy and betrayal, or the advances of potiphar's wife, or her lies that sent him to prison. The Bible says, "They bruised his feet with feathers and placed his neck in an iron collar, until the time came to fulfill his dreams. The Lord tested Joseph's character... Joseph didn't know it, but he was in training for reigning. God wanted to see if he would choose trust over must, and obedience over expedience. Joseph was able to learn that, God is with you even when there is no evidence He is. He is walking along side with you, He is going ahead of you to rearrange circumstances in your favour. God promised to be with you... But sometimes in the plan of God things get worse before they get better. That's when you must tighten

You are the Virus

2 Corinthians  13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? Our God is so pure that He can never be deceived by our fake religious activities, or our makeup services  Apostle Paul was admonishing the Corinthians, to examine themselves if they were not viruses in the body of Christ  A virus is a type of microscopic agent that causes an infectious disease, which could lead to death. Many Christians today are viruses in the church of God that causes infectious diseases among brethren  Just because the government announce the lockdown, you suddenly increase the prices of your old stock…. You are the virus. You are the type that spread lies about a fellow in the church of God without proper findings of the truth … you are the virus  You are the type that find every false means to make money or achieved anything, yet you come to the church and appear as a saint …. You are the

Your Voice Is Needed

2 Kings  5:2 And the Syrians had gone out by companies, and had brought away captive out of the land of Israel a little maid; and she waited on Naaman's wife.  5:3 And she said unto her mistress, Would God my lord were with the prophet that is in Samaria! for he would recover him of his leprosy. It doesn’t matter how little your voice may sound It doesn’t matter if it’s melodious or not,  All that matters is that it is needed to be heard  Nobody knows the contribution of the little girl in that verse, who happens to be a maid, could change the life of Naaman the great warrior who has suffered many years of leprosy. It doesn’t matter if you are not a Prophet  It doesn’t matter if you are not an Evangelist, or an Apostle . All that matters is that your voice is needed in that crucial matter . Joseph was never a graduate of finance or accounting, but his little contribution saved a nation from 7 years of farming . It doesn’t matter if there are better speakers than you It doesn’t matt

The Faith of the Dead Men.

Daniel 3: 17 – 18  17. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us from out of thine hand, o king. 18. But if not, be it known unto you thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship thy golden image which thou hast set up. Can you imagine that… the 3 Hebrews were so determined on the fact that they will never bow down, nor deny the God they serve even if He refuse to save them. What a faith in an unseen God? Do you have such kind of faith? Is your faith in God not only depends on the goodies you receive from God? Is your faith not only limited in the good times? Have you not denied Gods since the beginning of the present Covid 19? Some people says there is no God, because there is no solution yet. Is your faith not tied to conditions? Is your faith not tied to circumstances? The faith of the 3 Hebrews were the faith of the  dead men… because they believed their God can choose not to save them but still, th
